Blog #1 of 2010

Well here it is, I've been threatening this blog for awhile and with the start of the new year it is time to get serious.

2009 was a great year, here are some highlights:

We moved back to Oklahoma and settled in Edmond, for now...
Tanner began the hard job of turning around the Oklahoma City P.F. Chang's
I became a Stay at Home Mom and joined a Mom's group
We started attending Life Church and I started teaching the 5th and 6th grade class
We spent the summer at Yost Lake and the Fall cheering on the Oklahoma State Cowboys at every home game.
I helped organize the WCA Reunion in July and reconnected with many high school friends.
Winfield and I spent tons of time with Tanner's grandmother
We went to Dallas for our 5 year anniversary/Tanner's birthday
I discovered a love of baking and started making all sorts of breads
My sister, Elaina and I ran the Route 66 quarter marathon
In November we found out our family was growing and baby number two will be here in July

There is so much more, but I'll leave it at that.

We have big plans for 2010, among them take a real vacation. Tanner's works 60-70 hours a week and a vacation never really works out. Hopefully, we'll be able to go away for a few days and relax. We are also excited to get the house ready for a new baby and prepare Winfield for big brotherhood. I don't think he really understands what is happening, but he does point to mommy's tummy and says baby. He loves babies and kids so much I think he'll be excited for a minute.

Hopefully this blog will be a way to keep family up to date and a great thing for my children to look back when they get older.

The next blog will be about my awesome son Winfield!
